BrainBrush
Using EEG data to identify emotions and create personalized art
We are a group of UCLA undergraduates part of the organization CruX UCLA. We created BrainBrush to show others the exciting capabilities of neurotechnology. Using the Muse EEG headset, we collected and labeled brainwave data from individuals as they experienced different emotions while watching videos. We used the data to train a machine learning algorithm to recognize various emotional states and develop highly personalized graphic art that reflects the inner workings of our minds.
